Partner Development Accounts

Welcome to ScoreApp’s Partner Program! This guide explains everything you need to know about using your partner account effectively.

Accessing Your Partner Account

Once you’ve been granted a partner account, logging into ScoreApp will provide you access to both your standard account and your partner account which you'll find within the account switch menu.

Partner Account Overview

Your partner account dashboard includes a few key differences to a standard account:

  1. Customer Accounts: View and manage your clients’ accounts.
  2. Commissions: See the commissions you’ve earned. Note that this integrates with the affiliate system; all commissions earned, whether through partner functionalities or affiliate promotions, are consolidated here.
  3. Partner Settings and Partner ID

    In your account settings:

    • You can upload your agency’s logo.
    • You’ll find your unique Partner ID, which is necessary for clients to add you as a partner.
  1. Team management & Permissions

When you add collaborators to your partner account, they will have access to all of the connected client accounts.

Accessing an existing Customer Account

If you'd like access to a clients account, the client must grant you access from within their account.

They should:

  1. Go to Users & Permissions in their account.
  2. Click Add Partner.
  3. Enter your unique Partner ID.
  4. Choose access permissions (e.g., editor only or full access to all scorecards). Your client can allow you access to all their existing and future Scorecards or just to specific Scorecards. They can also choose what level of access you'll receieve.

Creating a New Client Account

When you’ve onboarded a new client who doesn’t already have an account, you can create a development account directly from your partner dashboard:

  1. Click to Create a New Client Account.
  2. Provide the client’s account name.
  3. Access this new development account and begin building their scorecard.

Building Scorecards

Within a development account:

  • You can fully create and customize scorecards and configure your clients account.
  • Note: You cannot publish or “go live” until the client accepts ownership of the account and creates a paid subscription.
  • You can share a secure password-protected preview with your client for review and testing or you can invite them as a collaborator to the account.

Transferring Ownership to Clients

When your client is ready to take ownership:

  1. Go to your partner account, select the client’s account, and click Transfer Ownership.
  2. The client will receive an email notification to accept the account transfer.
  3. Upon clicking the email link, the client will:
    1. Confirm the transfer.
    2. Choose permissions (admin/editor) they wish to grant you.
    3. Select a suitable subscription plan.

Once accepted, the client officially owns the account, and your access remains according to the permissions that the client specified during the acceptance process.

Commissions

If a client upgrades from a free to a paid plan after you’ve been added as their partner, you’ll automatically receive commission credit inline with our affiliate commission tiers.

Managing Your Partner Team

You can add up to 10 team members to your partner account. Team members have managed access to all client scorecards your agency handles without needing individual access to each client’s account.
