Close.com & Scoreapp Integration

This article assumes you are already logged into your Close.com account before following the steps. If you are not logged in, the system may prompt you to do so first, which may slightly alter the order of the steps described below.

Important

Before starting the integration, ensure you’ve created a Custom Field in Close.com. This field will store each lead's result after completing the Scorecard.

Step 1: Authenticate Scoreapp with Close.com

  • From your Scoreapp home page, navigate to the left-hand menu bar and click Integrate.

  • Then find the Close.com icon in the list of available apps and click Configure.

  • Click the Click to Authenticate option to begin the process.

  • You will be taken to a new screen and asked to grant access. Click Allow.

  • Once access is granted, the system will refresh and redirect you to the Scoreapp integration page to continue with the process.

Step 2: Customize Your Integration

  • In the Settings section, you can assign specific tags to indicate how your leads start and finish the quiz. This helps you visually identify who abandoned the quiz and who completed it. This step is optional, so you may choose to leave this section blank.

  • Scroll down to the Map Lead Form Fields section. Here, you’ll notice that all fields from your lead form are automatically mapped to the corresponding fields in Close.com. No action is required unless you wish to adjust these mapping

  • Navigate to the Map Result Fields section to connect the scorecard result data to a custom field in Close.com:
    • Click Add Field to open a pop-up window.

If you didn’t create the custom field in Close.com earlier, and instead paused the integration to create it now, Scoreapp won’t show a "refresh" option at this step. To update the integration, exit and re-enter the page so the new field appears.

  • Once your custom field is visible, click the Add Field button.

  • You will be prompted to select your custom field. Note that Close.com automatically prefixes "Lead >" to the field name. For example, if your custom field is named "Scorecard Result," it will appear in the drop-down menu as "Lead > Scorecard Result."
  • In the pop-up, select the piece of result information from ScoreApp that you’d like to transfer. Then, choose the corresponding custom field in Close.com where this information will be stored.
  • Click the Save button to finalize the mapping.

  • Finally, click the Test Integration button to ensure everything is set up correctly.
