Publishing and Unpublishing a scorecard
Scorecards in ScoreApp can be managed as drafts or published, allowing flexibility for testing and finalisation. Here’s how to publish and unpublish your scorecard effectively:
Draft Mode: Testing Before Publishing
- Draft Mode: When a scorecard is in draft, it is not available to the public.
- Testing: Admins can test the scorecard in draft mode. Responses during this time will not count towards your response limit.
- Test Responses: Once the scorecard is published, all test responses collected during draft mode will be removed, leaving your dashboard clean for live responses.
Sharing a Draft for Feedback
If you need feedback from friends or colleagues who are not admins:
- Navigate to the Score Builder (Pen & Ruler icon).
- Go to Settings > General.
- Keep the scorecard in draft
- Enter a password in the draft settings and save.
- Share the scorecard URL along with the password.
- They can test the scorecard while it’s still in draft mode.
Publishing Your Scorecard
There are two ways to publish your scorecard:
- Top Navigation Bar:
- Click the Draft Mode button in the top left navigation bar.
- Select Publish.
- Settings Menu:
- Navigate to the Score Builder (Pen & Ruler icon).
- Go to Settings > General.
- Toggle off Draft Mode to publish the scorecard.
Unpublishing Your Scorecard
If you need to revert a live scorecard back to draft:
- Navigate to the Score Builder (Pen & Ruler icon).
- Go to Settings > General.
- Toggle on Draft Mode to make the scorecard a draft again.
This flexibility ensures that your scorecard is only live when you are ready, while allowing thorough testing and feedback beforehand.
