Insightly & Scoreapp Integration
This article assumes you are already logged into your Insightly account before following the steps. If you are not logged in, the system may prompt you to do so first, which may slightly alter the order of the steps described below.
Important
Before starting the integration, please ensure to create a Custom Field in Insightly, this field will store each lead's result after completing the Scorecard.
Information:
- Click here for instructions on How to Create a Custom Field.
- When following the instructions above, ensure that when you reach the step of selecting the object for which you’ll be creating fields, you choose "Lead".
- When creating a custom field make sure you select "text" type.
Step 1: Authenticate Scoreapp with Insightly
From your Scoreapp home page, navigate to the left-hand menu bar and click Integrate.
Then find the Insightly icon in the list of available apps and click Configure.
Click the Connect button to begin the process.
You will be prompted to enter your API URL and API Key from Insightly.
- To find it, go to User Settings in the top-right corner, then scroll down to find your API information. Note: Copy the API URL provided, but only up to the “.com” portion.
- Once you've entered the required information in Scoreapp, click the Save button.
Step 2: Customize Your Integration
Scroll down to the Map Lead Form Fields section. Here, you’ll notice that all fields from your lead form are automatically mapped to the corresponding fields in Insightly. No action is required unless you wish to adjust these mappings.
- Navigate to the Map Result Fields section to connect the scorecard result data to a custom field from Insightly:
- Click Add Field to open a pop-up window.
If you didn’t create the custom field in Insightly earlier and instead paused the integration to create it now, Scoreapp won’t show a "refresh" option at this step. To update the integration, exit and re-enter the page so the new field appears.
- In the pop-up, select the piece of result information from ScoreApp that you’d like to transfer. Then, choose the corresponding custom field in Insightly where this information will be stored.
- Click Save to confirm.
Finally, click the Test Integration button to ensure everything is set up correctly.
Here is an example of how your Leads will appear in Insightly after being transferred from ScoreApp.
Note: You will not find these entries under "Contacts" in Insightly. Instead, they will be located under "Leads." Below is a screenshot showing where you can locate their segment name, the specific piece of data, or the result you are transferring from ScoreApp.
