Klaviyo & ScoreApp Integration

Important

Before starting, please ensure you have your API key from Klaviyo ready.

Information

When creating your API key in Klaviyo, keep these two steps in mind:

• Scroll down to the Default Opt-In Settings and set it to "Single Opt-In". If this setting is left as "Double Opt-In," leads coming from ScoreApp will not appear in your Klaviyo contact list until they manually confirm their opt-in via a follow-up email sent by Klaviyo.

• When generating your API key, select Full Access to ensure ScoreApp can add new leads and update existing ones.

Step 1: Authenticate Scoreapp with Klaviyo

From your Scoreapp home page, navigate to the left-hand menu bar and click Integrate.

Then find the Klaviyo icon in the list of available apps and click Configure.

Click the Connect button to begin the process.

Step 2: Customize Your Integration

The Settings section is optional and useful for segmentation or retargeting:

• Emails are collected at the start of the Scorecard.
• You can create filters in Klaviyo to track leads with the "start" tag but not the "finish" tag, helping you identify those who abandoned the Scorecard.

This allows you to retarget or segment your audience based on their engagement.

Scroll down to the Map Lead Form Fields section. Here, you’ll notice that all fields from your lead form are automatically mapped to the corresponding fields in Klavyo. No action is required unless you wish to adjust these mappings.

• Navigate to the Map Result Fields section to connect the scorecard result data to a custom field in Klaviyo:
• Click Add Field to open a pop-up window.

• The first drop-down lets you create a custom field in Klaviyo where the scorecard results will be stored.
• Begin typing the name of the custom field you wish to create (e.g., Scorecard Results).
• A suggestion will appear below, such as Add "Scorecard Results".
• Click this suggestion to create and select the custom field immediately.

• Once both fields are selected or created, click Save to confirm.
• Finally, click the Test Integration button to ensure everything is set up correctly.
