Ontraport & ScoreApp Integration

Important

Before starting the integration, please ensure you've created a Custom Field in Ontraport to store each lead's result after completing the Scorecard.

Step 1: Authenticate Scoreapp with Ontraport

From your Scoreapp home page, navigate to the left-hand menu bar and click Integrate.

Then find the Ontraport icon in the list of available apps and click Configure.

Click the Connect button to begin the process.

  • ScoreApp will prompt you to authenticate your Ontraport account by entering your API Key and API ID. The resources mentioned in the "Information" section above can help you locate this information.
  • After entering the details, click the "Save" button to proceed.

Step 2: Customize Your Integration

The Settings section is optional and useful for segmentation or retargeting. For instance, you can create filters in Ontraport to track leads with the "start" tag but not the "finish" tag, helping you identify those who abandoned the Scorecard.

Scroll down to the Map Lead Form Fields section. Here, you’ll notice that all fields from your lead form are automatically mapped to the corresponding fields in Ontraport. No action is required unless you wish to adjust these mappings.

Navigate to the Map Result Fields section to connect the scorecard result data to a custom field in Ontraport

If you didn’t create the merge field in Ontraport earlier and instead paused the integration to create it now, Scoreapp won’t show a "refresh" option at this step. To update the integration, exit and re-enter the page so the new field appears.

Click Add Field to open a pop-up window.

  • The first drop-down lets you select a custom field from Ontraport where the scorecard results will be stored.
  • Then choose the piece of data from Scoreapp that you wish to transfer
  • Once both fields are selected, click Save to confirm.

Finally, click the Test Integration button to ensure everything is set up correctly.

Heads-up

When leads are sent from ScoreApp to Ontraport, the custom fields with ScoreApp data are not immediately visible. By default, only basic fields like the email address are displayed. The data is already there; it just needs to be made visible.

  • To view them, navigate to the contact's settings

Click "add" to choose the custom field you created earlier, and click Save.

This step ensures that the custom field becomes visible in your contact records.
