Resolving 404 Errors When Accessing a Scorecard
If your scorecard is published but displays a 404 error when you try to access it, this typically happens because there is no default landing page set. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.
Find Your Landing Page
- Log in to Your ScoreApp Account.
- Navigate to Your Scorecards.
- Select the scorecard that is displaying the 404 error.
- From the left-hand menu, click Build.
Go to the Landing Pages section from the left-hand menu.
Ensure that you have at least one landing page created and published.
If you don't, click the three dots at the far right-hand side (⋮) and click Publish.
Set a Default Landing Page
- Locate the landing page you want as the default.
- Click the three dots at the far right-hand side (⋮) next to the page.
- Select Make Default.
Test the Scorecard URL
- Open a new browser window and enter your scorecard URL.
- The page should now load correctly without the 404 error.
Additional Notes
- If you are still experiencing the issue after setting a default landing page, try clearing your browser cache and testing again.
- Ensure that the scorecard itself is also published and not in draft mode.
- If the problem persists, contact our support team for further assistance.
