Adding Images or Videos to Questions
You can now enhance your scorecard questions by adding images or videos directly to each question. This is a great way to provide visual context, boost engagement, or simply make your quiz more dynamic.
Information
With the Media in Questions feature, you can:
- Upload images or link to videos (YouTube or Vimeo only for now).
- Customize the media position — place it above, below, to the side, or set it as a background.
- Enable autoplay for videos (where supported).
Important
- Private Videos: If your video is set to private, ScoreApp may not be able to play it. Ensure your video is set to public on YouTube or Vimeo.
- Related Videos: YouTube and Vimeo control what related content shows after playback — this may include videos from other channels.
- Auto-adjust Text Color (Coming Soon): We’re working on a feature that automatically changes text color based on your media background, just like on landing pages.

Use a Free Image
- Once you've selected an image, a preview will appear in the question builder. By default, the image will display below the question text and above the answer choices — but don’t worry, you can change its position in the next step.
- Click Confirm to close the image library.
- You’ll see position options for both desktop and mobile views.
- Click the dropdown menu for each to choose where the media appears (above, below, side, or background).
- Then click Save changes in the top menu bar.
If you choose Background, a Shading option will appear. This lets you apply a dark overlay to the media for better text contrast.
