Customising a Scorecard Template

ScoreApp have created some ready made scorecards that you can choose from at the click on a button. 

These templates come complete with copy, images, questions, score logic and results. It's important that you put your own stamp on these templates so they are a true reflection of you and your brand. All aspects are fully customisable so you can update as little or as much as you'd like.


Let's get you set up. 

To select a Scorecard template you must first click on the 'create scorecard' option and then select 'pick a template'.


Scroll down till you find a Scorecard that work best for you or use the search option/filters.

If you click on a Scorecard template you will be given a ' preview

Scroll down to see highlights of the scorecard. Once you have found a scorecard that you like, click the ' Use this template' green button and wait just a couple of seconds while your scorecard is generated. 

Edit Brand Settings 

The first thing you will be encouraged to do is edit your brand settings. Here you can add your logo, colours and fonts. This can be edited under settings>branding.

Once you have pressed save you will then enter the Scorecard Build area where you can edit your new template. 

Template Sections

Questions 

Here is where you add & edit your questions and any categories as well as customising the question design.

Landing Pages

Your landing page is the first place that your visitor will land when clicking onto your scorecard. 

Lead Form

Lead for is the information that you capture from your leads either at the beginning or end of the Scorecard. You can edit the information that you want to ask for as well as customising the deign

Results 

Edit your results page to add value to the person taking your scorecard and to provide a very clear call to action.

Settings 

This is the epicentre of your scorecard settings where you can update your brand settings, share appearance, set up integrations and more. Currently you gave default settings that come with your template. 

Edit Questions

Your template comes with pre-populated questions. You can choose to edit, add or delete these directly from your scorecard builder. 

At the end of each question you will see some icons;

Paper - copy question -  this also copies over all formatting 

Trash can - Deletes question

Or you can click on the question itself to edit it

You can also select the categories icon which is the second icon on the left hand side toolbar within the question builder and select to add categories or delete categories. You can learn how to do this by CLICKING HERE.

Edit a landing page Template

On your landing page you have two options;

1. Editing a landing page means you can simply choose to edit your existing landing page template. 

2. Adding a landing page Start designing a new landing page either from scratch or with a ScoreApp ready made template. 

To edit your new template, click on the 3 dots and select 'Edit'


You will then be taken to your template builder that's already repopulated for you with the all the sections that comes with your chosen template. 

Sections

Sections are the building blocks of your landing page that you can customise to your specification. 

When a landing page template is first generated you will start with all the different sections that were included in the template design. these can be edited, moved and deleted at any time. 

Standard sections;

Lead Form Pop Up

Clicking on ‘lead form’ will allow you to change the content and style of the sign up form if you have it positioned before the questions. 

Header

‘Header’ allows you to customise the top half of your landing page with a logo or text. 

  1. Select ‘Header’
  2. Under ‘Logo’ click ‘Select file’
  3. Drop or click to upload file or click ‘Library’ to add a stock image
  4. Save

You will also have the opportunity to style your logo, edit the position and perfect the margin size. 

Footer

‘Footer’ allows you to customise the bottom half of your landing page with a logo, text and Copyright or Company information.

  1. Select ‘Footer’
  2. Under ‘Logo’ click ‘Select file’
  3. Drop or click to upload file or click ‘Library’ to add a stock image
  4. Under Copyright add your companies details 
  5. Save

You will also have the opportunity to style your logo, edit the position and perfect the margin size.

Your Template will also include sections such as the ones below. 

  1. Banner
  2. One page Forms
  3. Call To Actions
  4. Testimonials
  5. Categories
  6. Videos
  7. Advanced (custom)
  8. Content


Edit sections 

To edit each section simply click on the section you want to edit and using the content and section style options to customise accordingly and press save.

Change order and hide section 

You can change the order of your sections by clicking and holding on the 6 little dots and moving it up and down. 

You can hide a section by clicking on the eye icon. You will be able to see if it is not visible if there is a digital line through the eye icon. 


Edit your brand theme settings 

Once you are inside the landing page editor, the question builder, the results page editor or the PDF editor, you will have the option to update the brand theme at any time, which will update any changes you make across all of the elements.


You can amend the brand theme by selecting the palette icon on the left hand white tool bar. Click here for more information about your brand theme settings


Edit the Lead form

The next area for you to customise on your template is the Lead Form. This is where you capture visitor data and you can edit your fields and fully customise your data privacy settings include with GDPR

Results Page 

Just like your Landing page, your results page is ready to go and can be easily edited from your Scorecard builder. 


To edit your results template, select result pages and click on the 3 dots and select 'Edit'

You will then be taken to your results template builder that's already repopulated for you with the all the sections that comes with your chosen template. 

You can edit sections, add sections, change order and customise settings in the same way as your landing page. 


Settings

Your template comes with default settings but you can edit these under the 'settings' tab.

Publish your Scorecard

Once you’re finished and happy with your Scorecard you are then ready to publish. 

At the top of the page you will see that your current template is in orange ' Draft mode' simply click the button and select 'Disable draft mode

View Scorecard

You can view your scorecard by clicking the box with arrow at the top of the page. This will only show the published/default landing page.
