Editing the Scorecard URL

When you publish a Scorecard without using a domain, ScoreApp automatically generates a default URL based on your account name (for example: https://kim-abc123.scoreapp.com).

Information

  • Free Package: The URL is not editable and will consist of your account name followed by a string of letters and numbers.
  • Starter Package: You can customise the initial part of the URL, which will always end with scoreapp.com .
  • Business Package and Up: You can use a custom domain name for your URL. For more details, refer to this article on adding a custom domain.

Important

  • Updating the URL will break any previously shared links (social media, emails, website embeds, etc.). Make sure you update those links with your new URL.
  • This update only changes the name portion of your ScoreApp URL.
  • The new URL must be unique; if another ScoreApp user is already using the same name, you’ll need to choose a different one.
  • If you use integrations, tracking systems, or custom domains, verify that everything still works after the change.

Editing the Scorecard URL:

  • From your ScoreApp dashboard, click Settings in the left-hand menu.
  • Select General from the Settings menu.
  • In the Scorecard URL field, replace the existing name with your new desired name.
  • Click Save to confirm the change.

Your updated URL will now be active and ready to share. You can click on the icon below to preview the URL, which will be featured at the top left of the screen.

Using a Custom Domain

If you’re on a Business plan or higher, you can connect a custom domain to your Scorecard.

Go to Account > Domain, then follow the steps in this article on adding a custom domain.

Note: If you later update your account name, the Scorecard URL will not change automatically. To update the name portion of the URL, you’ll need to do it manually.
