Adding Google Analytics to your Scorecard
Adding Google Analytics to your Scorecard works largely in the same way as any other website.
Because a Scorecard behaves essentially the same as a standard website with landing pages, the questions page and result pages all loading like individual landing pages. When Google Analytics is installed on your Scorecard you will start to see traffic and PageViews flow through your pages.
You can add your Google Analytics script to your Scorecard via the Tracking settings page in your Scorecard dashboard
Go to Build -> Settings -> Tracking
You should copy and paste the entire tag code provided by Google Analytics into the field provided as per the below screenshot.
How to find your Google Analytics tag
Follow the instructions provided by Google here under the header 'Find your Google tag' to find your tag code within Google analytics https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/9539598?hl=en
Use existing website GA account or setup new?
This is going to depend on your own individual setup and personal preference to a large extent. If you're running the Scorecard as a completely standalone promotion it might make sense to setup a new separate GA account so that you're not confusing things with your existing account however if you plan to move traffic between your main website and the Scorecard and you want to track that full journey then it would make sense for you to use the one GA account and data stream.
Conversion events
It is possible to setup custom conversion events in GA4 by using specific page view events. You can find more about this by reading our guide 'Setting Up Custom Conversion Events in GA4 for your Scorecard'
