Passing UTM Parameters to your CRM

If you're sending traffic to your ScoreApp scorecard from different channels, platforms, or campaigns, you can pass extra data. Such as source, campaign name, or custom identifiers, using UTM parameters in your scorecard URL.

For example:

https://yourquiz.scoreapp.com?utm_campaign=123

When someone completes your scorecard, these UTM values appear under the Source tab in their lead profile within ScoreApp.

What You Can Track with UTM Parameters

While UTM parameters are commonly used to track traffic sources, you can use them to pass any additional context you want to associate with a lead, such as:

  • utm_campaign=summer_offer_2025 – the name of the campaign
  • utm_content=video_ad_v1 – the specific ad creative
  • utm_term=lookalike_audience_2 – audience segment or keyword
  • You can even define your own custom UTM-like parameters. e.g, utm_partner=john_smith or ref=affiliate123

Sending UTM Data to Your CRM

  • Go to the Integrations section
  • Select the CRM integration you’ve set up (e.g, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Mailchimp, etc.).
  • In the "Map lead Form field" section, click Add Field
  • From the ScoreApp drop-down, choose Tracking
  • From the Field Option drop-down, choose the related UTM (e.g, UTM Campaign).
  • Save your changes.

Once mapped, ScoreApp will automatically pass UTM data along with each lead, giving you full visibility in your CRM for better segmentation, reporting, or automations.
